Senior Microsoft Solutions Architect (Contract)

Location: Dublin - Hybrid - Competitive Daily Rate - 6+ Months

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale digital solutions using modern Microsoft technologies. You will define technical direction, shape architectural strategy, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee complex solution architectures across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Define technology roadmaps aligned with client goals and Microsoft best practices.
• Lead technical delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Produce clear architectural blueprints and implementation plans.
• Mentor teams and promote architectural best practice across projects.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in solution design and delivery within Microsoft environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure, .NET, and Microsoft ERP (ideally Business Central).
• Experience in integration architecture, data design, and modern data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric).
• Familiarity with TOGAF or other architecture frameworks.
• Deep understanding of security, disaster recovery, and cloud governance.
